Holographic gratings
Holographic gratings are commonly used in applications that are sensitive to stray light. The substrate is coated with photosensitive material.
The substrate coated with photosensitive material is placed between the monochromatic light produced by the laser and the intersecting beam composed of coherent beams, which make the photosensitive material sensitize. The intersecting laser beams produce a series of parallel and equidistant interference fringes, the intensity of which varies according to the shape of a sinusoidal curve.
